Diamandis and Kotler argue that technologies such as AI, robotics, 3D printing, biotechnology and virtual reality are converging and will transform industries including transport, retail, health care, education and entertainment within a decade.
The book is optimistic and at times promotional, and readers should treat its timelines with caution. It is useful as a survey of emerging technologies and of the thinking in Silicon Valley about them.
