The Battle of Rezang La

Yadav tells the story of Charlie Company of 13 Kumaon, which fought to almost the last man at Rezang La in Ladakh in November 1962. Under Major Shaitan Singh, who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the company held its position against overwhelming Chinese forces.
The book is a tribute to the soldiers and a reminder that, amid the defeat of 1962, there were episodes of extraordinary courage.
