War & StrategyBook note
The Leverage of Sea Power
Description. A short description of a book from my bookshelf, not a review.
Gray examines the strategic advantage that sea power has given maritime states in major wars, from antiquity to the twentieth century. He argues that sea power provides flexibility, access to resources and the ability to apply pressure at points of one's choosing.
It is a strong historical case for the importance of navies and a good complement to Mahan and Corbett.
