The New Silk Roads
Description. A short description of a book from my bookshelf, not a review.
In this follow-up to The Silk Roads, Frankopan looks at the present and future of the world through the lens of Asia. He examines China's Belt and Road Initiative and the shift of economic and political power toward the countries between China and Europe.
It is short and timely, and a good introduction to how the regions along the old Silk Roads are being reshaped by investment, infrastructure and great-power competition.
