Six Days of War

by Michael B. Oren

Description. A short description of a book from my bookshelf, not a review.

Oren gives a detailed account of the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, covering the diplomatic crisis that preceded it, the six days of fighting on three fronts, and its lasting consequences for the Middle East.

Drawing on archives from several countries, it is thorough and readable, though written from a perspective broadly sympathetic to Israel. It remains a standard history of the war.
